DivorceCare
Diovorce? Separated? Find help, hope and healing through God and others going through similar situations. Get a fresh start and practical steps for piecing your life back together. Fall and Winter sessions of DivorceCare are scheduled each year. Meets Tuesdays evenings from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. For more information about DivorceCare contact jlangewisch@messiahbc.org.
Hope Keepers
Hope Keepers is a Christian support group for those dealing with chronic pain or illness. We include Bible Study in our meetings and use many materials provided by Rest Ministries, an online source of encouragement for people who have pain and/or illness. There you can subscribe to a daily e-mail devotional and find helpful and inspiring information and resources for people with chronic pain and illness. Messiah's Hope Keepers group meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month at 1:00 p.m. For more information about our group contact Alice Crosby - 989-631-0818
Stephen Ministries
Are you adjusting to a new job, a change in marital status, a serious illness, the death of a loved one, a recent move, or just experiencing a lonely or difficult time in your life?
Could you benefit from having someone who would listen and care and walk with you through this difficult time?
God does not intend for you to struggle alone!
You might consider allowing a Stephen Minister to walk with you on your journey to wholeness.Someone who would come along side you in a one-on-one setting to listen, encourage and give you Christian support in a confidential manner. They also visit with people following hospitalizations and with families and individuals dealing with major illnesses.

Pastoral Care
If you desire to speak with or be visited by one of our pastors, please call the church (989-835-7143). If you are not able to immediately speak with one of the pastors, please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Our office administrator, Jackie, can schedule appointments with the pastors if you so request. Pastor John Langewisch coordinates pastoral care needs such as hospital or shut-in visits. (Hospitals are not able to notify us of your being in the hospital unless you specificaly ask them to call us.) Pastor John and Pastor Tige Culbertson are available for pastoral counseling.
If you are interested in baptism for yourself or your child, Pastor Kurt Weber coordinates their scheduling. If you are new to the Messiah Faith Family, Pastor Kurt will probably want to meet with you to discuss the significance of baptism for you, your family, and Messiah's relationship to you as a baptized child of God.
If you are looking to have a wedding at Messiah, contact Pastor John to set up an initial appointment with him. (It is a good idea to check with him concerning the church's calendar before reserving your reception hall.) Dates are not reserved until each couple has met with him.
When a death occurs in your family, please be sure to notify the church. The loss of a loved one is a major spiritual event in our lives. Pastor John works with families in planning funerals that both remember how our loved one touched our lives and celebrating the gift of eternal life Jesus assures us of.
